Still living in the pandemic. Lost count of the days. But! Today is Special! It is Story Day. I am very pleased to announce that my story The Witch Speaks is now live at Lightspeed Magazine. The Witch Speaks is about inter-faith love and is set in Varanasi, India, one of the seven holy sites of Hinduism. I have always been fascinated by the city and its contradictions. For those who read this story and wish to know, I want to say that everything I have written about the city is true to the best of my knowledge. Even the death hotels. Even the flesh-eating turtles. Even the temple with the stepwell and the door to Nagaloka.

Well, the door is actually a myth. But it could be true. Couldn’t it?
