One Day in the Afterlife of Detective Roshni Chaddha

Story days are the best days! Delighted to announce that my little novelette One Day in the Afterlife of Detective Roshni Chaddha is now live at Lightspeed Magazine. It’s a supernatural detective story featuring an inept messenger of death, a dashing afterlife policeman, an evil villain, an unreliable ghost, a missing soul, and a Coffee House with a delectable menu. It was very fun for me to write and I hope it will be fun for you to read as well.

I answer some questions about the story and my latest in the Author Spotlight. Many thanks to Lightspeed Magazine for publishing my story. This is my fifth appearance there, and it never ceases to delight and amaze me!

As this is my last publication of the year, this is also going to serve as my (ahem) award eligibility post. What did I publish in 2022? Here they all are, in order of decreasing word count. I am proud of all of them. 🙂

Have you every wanted to really escape from it all? This one’s for you.

All the stories are free to read online. The book can be bought from every major retailer or you can ask your public library to order one for you. (Authors love libraries.) Okay, this is me signing out until next year, unless I have something burning to share. I’ve been swamped in edits for my next book for the last couple of months, and I just delivered them, so going to celebrate by doing – nothing, lol. Tea and cake, tea and cake.
