Nearly a month since my book was released! I haven’t had time to worry about how it’s doing, because on the day of release, I got my edits for my next book which is scheduled for Fall 23. Still wrangling with those edits. I am more than halfway through, but it’s hard work. But, in a lovely piece of news to brighten me up, I saw my cover today for the first time, and it’s gorgeous. Just breathtaking. Can’t wait to share it with everyone!
FYI, my next book is also a medieval Indian fantasy but set in a different world from Night of the Raven, Dawn of the Dove. I’ve had multiple readers ask if there will be a sequel, and I would like to clarify that NRDD is a standalone fantasy. That is how it was written, and that was my intention from the start. This doesn’t mean I won’t ever write stories set in this world! I love the NRDD world; it’s so rich, and there are so many possible story strands I could weave. But I do not as of now have anything planned, and my next book is unrelated to it. However, if you liked NRDD, you’ll most likely enjoy the next one too. (I hope.)
Anyway, the reason I am writing this blog post is because I have three appearances coming up and I wanted to let everyone know. These are virtual, so you can join from anywhere in the world!
